The measurement and reading of the water level change consists of two parts:
1. The buried part of the underground material is composed of a water level pipe and a bottom cover (sold separately)
2. Ground receiving instrument – steel ruler water level gauge, which is composed of measuring head, steel ruler cable, receiving system and winding reel.
Probe part: made of stainless steel, with water resistance contact points installed inside. When the contacts touch the water surface, the receiving system will be turned on, and when the contacts leave the water surface, the receiving system will be turned off.
Steel ruler cable part: The steel ruler and the wire are combined into one by plastic technology, which not only prevents the steel ruler from rusting, but also simplifies the operation process, making the measurement and reading more convenient and accurate.
Receiving system part: consists of sounder, indicator light and peak indicator. The sounder emits a continuous beeping sound, the indicator light is on, and the peak value is indicated by the voltmeter.

Users must pay attention to two points when reading:
A) When the contact of the probe touches the water surface, the sounder will make a sound, the indicator light will be on, and the pointer of the voltmeter will rotate. At this time, the steel ruler cable should be slowly put in, so as to carefully find the exact position of the pronunciation or indication moment and read the depth dimension of the point from the orifice.
B) The accuracy of the reading depends on the timely judgment of the starting position of the buzzer or indication. The accuracy of the measurement is related to the operator’s proficiency, so practice and operation should be repeated.
How to maintain the steel ruler water level meter?
Due to the limited capacity of the battery, the power switch should be turned off immediately after the measurement, and do not forget! When replacing the battery (the battery is 9V), unscrew the battery cover screw and push the battery cover to replace the battery.
After the measurement, the probe and the steel ruler cable must be wiped clean, and the steel ruler cable should be neatly wound on the reel, and then placed in the cabinet.
When the probe is working, it is required to be sealed, and disassembly is absolutely prohibited. (Cannot be placed horizontally in water). The measurement cable should not be bent, especially near the end of the side head to avoid damage.
The probe should be handled with care, and should not be shaken violently.
