Air pressure (also known as air pressure) refers to the force that air acts vertically on the surface of air micelles or a unit area of ​​the surface of an object, and the unit is Pa (Pa).
There is a layer of air around the earth – the atmosphere. The molecules of air are very active, and because of the great attraction of the earth, the air on the surface of the earth will not run away into space. The number of air molecules in the atmosphere increases the closer they are to the ground, and the less they leave the ground. At low altitudes, the number of molecules decreases, the temperature decreases, and the pressure of the atmosphere gradually decreases.
When air moves, the molecules behave differently, so the pressure of the gas changes. When the gas flows, all the air molecules in the flow direction will have a greater impact, and the pressure will increase. This pressure due to the flow of air is called dynamic pressure. The wind force felt on a windy day is the dynamic pressure of the air. When the gas flows in one direction, the average force of the gas molecules impacting in other directions is relatively reduced, and the pressure acting on the surface of the object parallel to the direction of the gas flow is called static pressure. That is to say, the greater the velocity of the gas flow, the greater the dynamic pressure and the smaller the static pressure; conversely, the smaller the velocity, the smaller the dynamic pressure and the greater the static pressure. When the gas does not move, the static pressure is at its maximum.
