EC (Electric Conductivity) Chinese name conductivity, conductivity refers to the ability to conduct current in water. In water quality monitoring, conductivity is one of the important indicators reflecting water quality. When the conductivity value of the water is higher, the conductivity is better, and the TDS value in the water is larger. The TDS value represents the impurity content of dissolved substances in the water. The larger the TDS value, the larger the impurity content in the water. Pure, the lower the conductivity.

As a professional monitoring instrument for measuring the conductivity of solutions, industrial EC sensors are often used in continuous monitoring of the conductivity values ​​of aqueous solutions such as cross-section water quality, aquaculture, sewage treatment, environmental protection, pharmaceuticals, food and tap water.

Industrial EC sensors can be divided into electrode type EC sensors, inductive EC sensors and ultrasonic EC sensors according to different measurement principles. Electrode type EC sensor adopts resistance measurement method according to the principle of electrolytic conduction; inductive type EC sensor realizes the measurement of liquid conductivity according to the principle of electromagnetic induction; ultrasonic EC sensor measures the conductivity according to the change of ultrasonic wave in liquid, among which the first two kinds of sensors are applied more extensive.

The SenTec industrial EC sensor adopts the electrode type conductivity measurement method. The built-in high-precision sensor measures accurately. Its conductivity measurement range is between 0~20000μS/cm. When =1, the measurement range is 0~2000μs/cm, and the resolution is 0.1μs/cm; when the cell constant is K=10, the measurement range is 10~20000μs/cm, and the resolution is 1μs/cm.

The sensor has two signal output modes: RS485 and analog. Built-in temperature sensor, with automatic temperature compensation function, can compensate the current temperature conductivity to the specified temperature. It can work within -20~60℃ and relative humidity of 0-85%. The product shell is IP65. It can be used in outdoor rain and snow environment. It has excellent anti-pollution ability. It can also be monitored online for a long time even in harsh environments. polarization will occur.

SenTec industrial EC sensors are equipped with stainless steel and plastic case electrodes for customers to choose. Among them, stainless steel electrodes are equipped with upper and lower 3/4 threads, and plastic case electrodes are equipped with 3/4 to 1/2 cores for easy installation. The length of the electrode wire is 5m, 10m, 15m, 20m for selection, and supports a variety of electrode installation methods.

1. Submerged installation: The lead wire of the electrode is passed through the stainless steel tube, and the 3/4 thread on the top of the electrode is connected with the stainless steel 3/4 thread with a raw material tape to ensure that the top of the electrode and the electrode wire do not enter the water.
2. Side wall installation: The manufacturer provides a 316L full stainless steel sheath with a bevel, and the electrode can be screwed into the sheath.
3. Pipeline installation: Connect to the pipe through the 3/4 thread of the electrode.
