Hydrostatic level transmitter

Hydrostatic level transmitter, also called Hydrostatic level sensor which is a form of level probe that is used for level monitoring by measuring the hydrostatic pressure in a virtually static liquid at a pre-determined level of submersion.  Hydrostatic submersible pressure level transmitter is the most commonly used level measurement sensor.

Hydrostatic level model

Hydrostatic level transmitters are used to measure the level or fill height of liquids. Hydrostatic level transmitter measurement is suitable for liquid level measurement due to the static pressure effect of non-flowing fluids. This physical principle describes the effect of the gravity of a stationary (i.e. non-flowing) liquid on the measurement point. This gravity is often described as “hydrostatic pressure”.

The submersible static pressure liquid level transmitter is based on the principle that the static pressure of the measured liquid is proportional to the height of the liquid, and uses the piezoresistive effect of diffused silicon or ceramic sensitive elements to convert the static pressure into an electrical signal. After temperature compensation and linear correction, it is converted into 4-20mADC standard current signal output. The sensor part of the submerged static pressure liquid level transmitter can be directly put into the liquid, and the transmitter part can be fixed by flange or bracket, which is very convenient to install and use.
