This article introduces the liquid level fluctuation phenomenon of liquid ammonia storage tank in a thermal power plant, analyzes the causes of liquid level fluctuation in liquid ammonia storage tank in detail through specific examples, and puts forward a specific technical improvement scheme of using radar waveguide liquid level meter in view of analyzing the advantages and disadvantages of different mature liquid level meters and practical cases. The application effect is good after the actual transformation.
