LZB Glass tube tube rotor flowmeter

A rotator flowmeter, also known as a rotameter, is a device for measuring fluid flow. The rotameter measures the fluid flow according to the throttling principle, but it changes the flow area of the fluid to keep the differential pressure above and below the rotor constant, so it is also called a variable flow area constant differential pressure flowmeter. The rotameter is based on the position of the float. A variable area flow meter for measurement. Also known as a float flowmeter.

The main measuring components of the glass rotameter are a vertically mounted small upper and large tapered glass tube and a float that can be moved up and down.

When the fluid passes through the conical glass tube from bottom to top, a pressure difference is generated between the upper and lower sides of the float, and the float rises under the differential pressure. When the rising force, the buoyancy and the viscous lift of the float are equal to the gravity of the float, the float is in equilibrium. Therefore, flowing through the glass rotor flowmeter

There is a certain proportional relationship between the fluid flow rate and the rise height of the float, that is, the flow area of the glass rotor flowmeter, and the position height of the float can be used as the flow measurement.
